There's a reason people who work at Camp Runoia keep coming back. Nestled on a mile of private shoreline on Great Pond in Belgrade, Maine, Runoia has been a special place for girls since 1907 and the staff who show up each summer are what make it that way. We're looking for a professional ropes course instructor who's ready to step into a leadership role, run a quality program, and spend their summer somewhere worth being.

As our Adventure & Challenge Course Instructor, you'll oversee all elements of Runoia's ropes program from daily equipment inspection to teaching and supervising staff and campers across low and high elements including our climbing tower, zip line, Burma bridge, and more. This is a senior role. You'll be the most experienced person on the course, and we need you to lead like it.

Requirements

A professional with documented, multi-season experience running high and low ropes elements. Ability to train and supervise less experienced staff, enforce safety protocols, and bring calm, confident leadership to the course every day. ACCT certification or equivalent is a strong plus. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
